Twenty-four-year-old Chason Kyle Williams, is charged with possession of marijuana with purpose to deliver, possession of alprazolam with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, DWI on drugs, obstructing governmental operations, careless and prohibited driving and driving without a license. According to the report, the arresting officer in Williams’ case had been advised to watch for a suspected DWI when he spotted Williams’ vehicle and pulled him over, noting that he noticed a strong odor of marijuana during the traffic stop. After Williams failed a DWI test and was arrested, a search of his vehicle revealed scales and eight suspected Xanax bars in a mislabeled pill bottle. While parked at the Crawford County Detention Center, the trooper reported that he found marijuana buds in Williams’ lap and shoved under the passenger seat. Inside the detention center, deputies discovered more marijuana in Williams’ jeans.
